Lethal heat or extreme temperature events disproportionately burdens women than men. This research expands a consortium of work centered on exploring the effect of built environment interventions on gendered health outcomes in warming climates. This research was a part of the University of Cambridge - Social Sciences & Humanities Access to Research Experience –SHARE programme.The SHARE programme is a four-week paid internship that gives undergraduate students the opportunity to experience postgraduate research in the social sciences and humanities in Cambridge. The University of Cambridge delivers this programme in partnership with Anglia Ruskin University, University of Bedfordshire and University of Suffolk. It is part of widening participation mission by University of Cambridge, UK.
