About
Dr Jiayu Pan is an early career research fellow supported by Leverhulme Trust and Issac Newton Trust. Jiayu’s research interests span sustainable architecture, urban spatial data analysis and public health. Her research focuses on how data-driven approaches can inform the design and planning of healthier, more sustainable and equitable built environments, particularly in resource-constrained contexts. She completed her PhD in Architecture (Science) at the University of Cambridge and has since expanded her research to include affordable housing, climate resilience and gender equality in both the UK and international contexts.
She is an Honorary Research Fellow at Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering, UCL. She currently works on the Policy and Implementation for Climate & Health Equity (PAICE) project and works as a researcher in residence within the GLA’s Public Health Unit.
