Pema Yangzom

Pema Yangzom is currently working as an Urban Planner at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (MoIT) in Thimphu, Bhutan. She holds an MPhil in Architecture and Urban Studies from the University of Cambridge (2023). In her current role, she supports the drafting, review, and implementation of housing-related policies, strategies, and regulations. Her professional conviction is that housing is not merely a physical structure, but a foundational prerequisite for health, wellbeing, and equitable development. During her leisure time, she is into creative arts such as photography, videography and digital arts.
