Professor Bardhan was invited to Yale as a Visiting Professor to present her research at the G. Evelyn Hutchinson Environmental Sciences Program. The Hutchinson Program is a collaborative initiative between the Yale School of the Environment and the Yale Center for Ecosystems in Architecture, bringing together leading scholars working at the interface of environment, design, and sustainability.
During her visit, Professor Bardhan presented her work on the intersection of climate change, built environments, and human health, with a focus on data-driven approaches to understanding heat exposure, housing, and environmental risk. Her research highlights how buildings and neighbourhoods can act as critical infrastructures for “precision prevention,” shaping population health outcomes in a warming world.
