The Cambridge Sustainable Design Group is pleased to announce that Dr Jiayu Pan has been awarded a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship, jointly funded by the Leverhulme Trust and the Isaac Newton Trust, to support a new research project exploring the intersecting challenges of heat, health and equity in the built environment.
The project investigates how extreme heat is experienced unevenly across urban populations, with a particular focus on patterns of exposure, vulnerability and adaptation. It seeks to inform more inclusive and gender-sensitive approaches to planning, design and climate adaptation policy.
